We had our kickoff meeting 9 February, and it was quite productive. The slides and the zoom recording are in the shared google drive.

We have been finalizing partner contracts with duties as discussed in the meeting. Funds have been allocated to both UiO and UiT to support one 20%-time student research technician at each institution. Each institution will follow local routines for hiring these students.

We had our first DEVELOP administrative meeting, with admin experts from UiO (My Hanh Tu) and UiB (Kjerstin Nilsen Nøkling; and follow-up email to Johanne Sofie Lund at UiT) and Kjerstin is working on host contacts and arranging our first focus-group meeting for April 2022 at UiB.

We had our first WP #1 meeting, to start planning our focus-group protocol for the UiB meeting in April (hopefully). In attendance: Gro, Gaute, Kelly, Kristin, and Sehoya.

At UiB next week, we are interviewing students for various research technician positions, including one DEVELOP position. Students will also be hired, to form a cross-institutional cohort, at UiO and UiT. These students at UiO and UiT can be hired later (but ideally by September 2022, to assist with transcription and coding of focus-group interviews). Note that we have planned, for UiB-area hosts, to have a short meeting, at IMR, with area hosts. At this meeting, we will discuss our work-relevance course and programs, possibly hear from student participants, have lunch, and then invite participants to join a focus-group discussion. After this meeting, we can discuss with UiO and UiT if they would like to host a similar event, or if they would rather just emphasize the focus group.
